Ferrotics
The word Ferrotics consists of the words
Ferrum (Iron), Robothics and Erotic.
The stimulus of engineering
and the play with shapes of the nature are also part of the work. The figures are drawn with a vector oriented
program. Some would call it unplugged, meaning without filters and tricks that are usually used in computer-
graphics. Each image conists of thousands of areas and lines. The combination of those areas and lines results
in a graphic/ technical appearance.
The time needed to create one image is about one to two weeks. All pictures are printed with nonfading colors
on high-quality paper and as limited editions. Each image is signed and numbered by hand.
Illustration
Illustrating means to make complex conections or situations easy to understand for the reader.

Image processing is a very important part of my work.
Flaws in digital materials are corrected or illustrative footage is composed out of various samples.

After long time working with computers, sometimes I decide to go back to what I originally learned and use my hands
again to build different kinds of models.

Even though it might seem like everything is for free on the internet that's
not how it is.
For private homepages with picture gallaries pictures can only be used for
free after a checkback with me. But only if the pictures are not changed in
any way.
A credit is customary. I refuse the approval of the use of my pictures if I do
not agree on the surrounding contents.
For comercial use: The purchase of an original/copy does not include the
copyright.
For every comercial use of an original or copy I will ask for a claim ranging
from EUR 100,- to up to EUR 5000,-. For special use the honorar will be higher.
For return service you will get high resolution pictures (Photoshop-files
with seperate foreground and background) for use on printed publications.
